Crossing the the dead riverDarkness... all she saw around her was pure darkness...
She looked around her hoping to see light, even just a sliver of it. Every minute she feels as if she had been dead all along. Fear started to creep inside her like a snake coiling at her body, choking her, taking her life...slowly, as she closed her eyes giving in to the darkness a voice like velvet called out her name, shattering that ice cold grip the darkness has on her. She opened her eyes and saw the man, he is a man in his early twenties with bright golden hair reaching his waist, his bright blue eyes looking gently at her he opened his mouth his words as sweet as an angel's as he said her name. "How are you Tsubasa?" Tsubasa was speechless, he came to her rescue even if she felt nothing for him. "Why?" was the only word that escaped her lips, "Why are you here? Ryuko?" she asked again, Ryuko siply smiled at the bewildered woman. His voice was angelic but his words hinted a trace of evil "I'm saving you for myself." slowly

All Here For A ReasonI turned onto a shady, well-manicured driveway that, for all intents and purposes, looked harmless enough. Maple trees lined both sides of the street, and a parade of Canadian geese marched across the road to a wide duck pond with a flamboyant fountain. There were blooming crepe myrtles and rose-of-sharons, and as I grew closer to my destination, neatly trimmed gardens with neatly trimmed bushes.
I stopped to let the geese pass. They looked at me; one hissed. I honked my horn and moved around them.
At the end of the road sat a collection of grayish buildings and a number of signs directing me to the appropriate parking lot. "Welcome to Ten Creeks Hospital," said one of them. "Please enjoy your stay." I parked in the visitor's lot. Surely I wouldn't be staying.
